84" boom: This boom is the most common size and used mainly on pickup truck units. It connects to your truck via the receiver hitch. It can be mounted to the flatbed of a truck if a receiver hitch is not present. Each end of this boom contains two fan tip nozzles, with the top being the post treat nozzle and the bottom being the pretreat nozzle. This allows you to apply up to 30' wide depending on the performance of your de-icing unit. Your center lane consists of a pretreat fan tip and a post treat, pencil tip pipe that runs the entire length of the boom. Boom should be 18"-24" off the ground.
100" boom: This boom is most often used on CDL size trucks with a flat bed or dump box. It connects to your truck via the receiver hitch or can be mounted to the flatbed of a truck if a receiver hitch is not present. Each end of this boom contains two fan tip nozzles, with the top being the post treat nozzle and the bottom being the pretreat nozzle. This allows you to apply up to 30' wide depending on the performance of your de-icing unit. 48" boom: This boom is designed to be run on a UTV. It does not have side nozzles. It is solely a center lane boom with a pencil tip pattern.
Boom Mounting Kit: The boom mounting kit is needed when a hitch receiver is not available or more stability is needed on the 100" boom. This kit mounts your boom to a flat bed with an adjustable bracket.
